You'll find two rustic cabins with 3 relaxing living areas, 3 nicely-equipped kitchens, private deck areas, a covered porch, 2 propane BBQ grills and a central grassy area with picnic tables and a fire pit.

With 16 private acres bordering the Stillwater State Forest (in the foothills of the Whitefish Range of the Rocky Mountains) and an on-site loop trail, outdoor recreational activities abound at Stillwater Mountain Lodge. The Whitefish Trail: Beaver Lake Trailhead is just across the property, and links you to miles and miles of wilderness to explore along scenic, carefully-maintained routes. Whether hiking or mountain biking endless trails in the summer or cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the winter, your Montana adventure all starts from the front door.

A short hike brings you to Murray Lake, a secluded wilderness deep-water lake that provides plenty of opportunity to fish, swim, boat or kayak / canoe. Beaver Lake and numerous smaller lakes are just up the road in the Stillwater State Forest. Large game is abundant in the area, and whether it's hiking, biking, hunting or fishing you're after, Stillwater Mountain Lodge is your spot.

During the Winter enjoy snowmobiling trails, fat bike winter trails and cross country skiing.  We can put you in touch with the right rental companies.

When you've had your fill of relaxing and taking in all that Stillwater Mountain Lodge has to offer, remember that Stillwater Mountain Lodge is also an ideal 'launchpad' location, within easy reach of skiing, downtown Whitefish, Whitefish and Flathead Lakes, whitewater rafting, ziplines, Glacier National Park, and much, much more.
