Just minutes from Whitefish, Montana, the Studio at Stillwater Mountain Lodge accommodates up to 4 people. This quaint studio with a shared entrance, a private full bath and a small, efficient kitchen, is furnished with a queen-sized bed, a twin day bed with a twin trundle underneath. There's also a breakfast bar, and small dining table. Amenities include satellite TV and wireless internet.  Right outside the front door you'll find a shared BBQ grill, shared picnic tables and shared fire pit area.

With 16 private acres bordering the Stillwater State Forest (in the foothills of the Whitefish Range of the Rocky Mountains) and an on-site loop trail, outdoor recreational activities abound at Stillwater Mountain Lodge. The Whitefish Trail: Beaver Lake Trailhead is just across the property, and links you to miles and miles of wilderness to explore along scenic, carefully-maintained routes. Whether hiking or mountain biking the endless trails in the summer or cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the winter, your Montana adventure all starts from the front door. 

A short hike brings you to Murray Lake, a secluded wilderness deep-water lake that provides plenty of opportunity to fish, swim, boat or kayak / canoe. Beaver Lake and numerous smaller lakes are just up the road in the Stillwater State Forest. Large game is abundant in the area, and whether it's hiking, biking, hunting or fishing you're after, Stillwater Mountain Lodge is your spot.

With fans for the summer months, you will be kept perfectly comfortable. In the winter months, the road leading to the property is diligently plowed by the county up to the trailhead, paths and driveways are maintained, and the property is kept ready for your arrival. As you would expect, there are heaters in the unit. Nearby trails are groomed and ready for classic cross country skiing or fat snow tire biking. Check with Whitefish Bike Retreat (across the street) for trail conditions, grooming and rentals.

What to be aware of: No smoking or pets are allowed on this property. There is a limit of two vehicles for this unit. Maximum occupancy at all times for this unit is 4 adult guests. Exterior cameras are provided for safety and security. Please come and have a good time, but remember that behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive will result in forfeiting the remainder of your stay.
