Guest Services - Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended as it may cover trip cancellations due to family emergencies and much more. If a guest declines travel insurance, that guest has waived the right to a refund in the event of a cancellation within 60 days of arrival. The cost is 7% of your reservation for Standard Travel Protection and 10% of your reservation for Cancel for Any Reason coverage.

How do I make a travel insurance claim?
If you have purchased travel insurance with your reservation, a policy from Rental Guardian (either through Berkshire Hathaway or Modern Voyage Travel Protection has automatically been purchased for you. If you want to cancel, postpone, arrival late or leave early, you must report the claim directly to Berkshire Hathaway (855.487.1745) or Modern Voyage (877.409.3953) to be reimbursed. The insurer will recover the cost of the rental and determine the refund applicable.
